CHANGE PROJECTS DISCUSSION WITH BPK VICE CHAIRMAN

BPK Training Institute of State Finance Audit held Administrator Leadership Training (PKA) Batch I of 2020 which was attended by 28 participants consisting of Administrator Officers (Echelon III) from Central BPK work units and Representative Offices. The training, which was held using the distance learning method through the Zoom and Learning Management System (LMS) applications, divided into several stages which began on July 9, 2020. The PKA learning pattern requires participants to be able to show maximum performance in designing changes in their work units.

The learning product in this stage is an action plan for changes in organizational performance that can have a significant and positive impact on work units and organizations. To enrich the insights and knowledge of the training participants, in this session the training organizer presented BPK Vice Chairman Dr. Agus Joko Pramono, CSFA, to discuss as well as give a presentation on the change project with the theme “Making Changes at BPK RI” (28/7/20).

Starting the discussion, BPK Vice Chairman conveyed 3 change phases including unfreezing (thawing phase), changing (changing phase), and refreezing (re-freezing phase) to strengthen the changes that had been made. In addition to designing change projects, various types of changes that may occur in the organization are also presented so that participants must be able to predict and minimize the effects of the implemented changes. Vice Chairman also said that to design this change project, the use of the Supreme Audit Institution Performance Measurement Framework (SAI PMF) can be applied in compiling and implementing the change actions that will be made.

The training, which is planned to be held both on-class and off-class, will also be filled with field studies at 2 different locus, namely the implementation of changes in organizational performance in each work unit and a change action seminar to assess the achievement of performance leadership competencies. With the various techniques implemented in this PKA, it is hoped that it can broaden the horizon and become provision in taking change action related to the duties and functions of working units so as to make BPK a better organization.
