OPENING OF TRAINING SERIES FOR CLASS III ACCOUNTING CPNS: “CONTINUE LEARNING BECAUSE LEARNING IS A NEVER-ENDING PROCESS”

The Chairman of BPK RI, Moermahadi Soerja Djanegara accompanied by the Head of PKN Training Agency, Hery Subowo, opened a training for CPNS (Civil Service Candidates) Class III Accounting in 2019 at the BPK Magelang Museum. The opening of the training series, with participants from the Yogyakarta PKN Training Center, was held on Monday, April 22, 2019 via teleconference with other participants at the Jakarta PKN Education and Training Center and the Gowa PKN Training Center. In his remarks, the Chairman of BPK RI emphasized that the most important element of success in the world of work is a commitment to continue learning and developing. The CPNS is expected to continue to improve competence on an ongoing basis.

The chairman of BPK RI revealed that the education obtained by the auditors through the formal level (university) was not enough to become a reliable auditor’s stock. Experience has a significant contribution. The auditor’s level of experience greatly influences the examiner’s performance. This allows them to work more efficiently and effectively. The chairman of BPK RI advised that CPNS should continue to develop themselves, gain experience by learning, asking questions, and seeking knowledge from their seniors. The CPNS must also take advantage of this training to increase their ability and commitment in realizing a better BPK RI.

The opening ceremony of the training series was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the BPK, Bahrullah Akbar, the Secretary General, Bahtiar Arif, the Head of the Yogyakarta Province BPK Representative, the Head of the Central Java Province BPK Representative, the Head of the Public Relations and International Cooperation Bureau (KSI) and structural officials within the Badiklat environment. In his report, the Head of the PKN Education and Training Agency, Hery Subowo explained that 193 CPNS participants (Jakarta PKN Training Center 38 people, Yogyakarta PKN Education and Training Center 96 people, Gowa PKN Training Center 59 people) will attend the BPK Orientation Training, Basic CPNS Training and First Expert Examiner Position Training. This year, BPK RI opens opportunities for general and special needs (formations) consisting of the Best Graduates (cum laude), Persons with Disabilities, Papuan and West Papuan boys/girls. This is in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister for Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform Number 36 of 2018 concerning Criteria for Determining the Need for Civil Servants and Implementation of the 2018 CPNS Selection.

The Head of the PKN Education and Training Agency added that the PKN Education and Training Agency seeks to grow and build employee discipline attitudes and ethics. Therefore, during this series of training, all training participants will be accompanied by an experienced coach. Badiklat PKN collaborates with the 072 Regiment Command, TNI AD. The involvement of Disciplinary Coaches aims to instill disciplined values ​​and manners that will be absorbed, imitated and practiced in daily activities.

The opening ceremony of this training series was followed by an interactive dialogue between the participants and the BPK leadership. The Secretary General acts as a moderator of the dialogue. The purpose of the dialogue is to get to know the BPK and BPK leaders better. CPNS participants from the Kalibata PKN Training Center and Gowa PKN Training Center contributed to asking questions through the teleconference facility. All participant questions were answered directly by the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson. The questions asked were related to continuing education programs, certified education, placement of human resources to the aspirations of CPNS to become members of the BPK RI.
