BPK PKN Badiklat again held Leadership Training (Diklatpim) Level III Batch I Year 2019 which began on June 17, 2019. The opening of the training was carried out by the Head of Badiklat PKN, Hery Subowo, at the Badiklat PKN Kalibata Hall, Jakarta (17/6). The Head of Badiklat PKN conveyed the importance of honing leadership skills for all training participants. There are four stages in leadership, or what is known as the art of leadership. “The first is to be a leader for yourself, the second is to be able to lead subordinates well, the third is to be a leader among other leaders and the fourth is service excellent leadership.”
In the personnel management system, echelon III structural officials have a decisive role in dealing with strategic national issues. In addition, it is the duty of echelon III structural officials to improve the performance of the sector or region they lead through setting the right vision. Improving the competence of civil servants through the implementation of education and training is expected to form change leaders in order to support bureaucratic reform in order to realize good and clean governance.
Implementation of Level III Diklatpim is needed to form a competent and visionary figure of echelon III structural officials. Based on the Regulation of the Head of LAN Number 19 of 2015 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Level III Leadership Education and Training, participants are required to demonstrate their performance in designing a change project. This ability to lead change is then a benchmark in determining the success of participants in the implementation of education and training. Through this training, it is hoped that it will produce alumni who are not only competent, but also able to demonstrate their performance in leading change.
Level III Education and Training for 2019 will be carried out as many as 857 Lesson Hours (JP) for about 88 days, namely June 17, 2019 until September 27, 2019. The training was attended by 34 people with details from the internal BPK as many as 16 people, the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas as many as 10 people, the Cabinet Secretariat as many as 4 people and the General Election Commission as many as 4 people. The learning stages provided at Level III Diklatpim are the stage of diagnosing the need for change, the stage of building a shared commitment, the stage of designing change and building a team, the leadership laboratory stage and the evaluation stage.
At the opening of the Level III Diklatpim, the Head of the PKN Badiklat was accompanied by the Management of the PKN Badiklat, Lecturers, Mentors, Student Trustees and several invited guests including the Head of the HR Bureau and Ortala Cabinet Secretariat, Ratih Mayangsari, Head of the KPU HR Bureau, Lucky Firnandy Majanto, and Head of Human Resources Management of Bappenas, Imam Gunawan. Accompanied by the Head of Planning and Implementation of PKN Education and Training, Rio Tirta, the Head of the PKN Education and Training Agency affixed the participant’s sign symbolically as a sign of the start of the training.
