A DAY WITH THE BOARD: A DAY WITH THE CHAIRMAN OF BPK RI

For the second time, the Education and Training Agency for the State Audit Board of the Republic of Indonesia (Badiklat PKN) held the A Day With The Board event, Tuesday (13/08/2019). The Chairman of BPK RI, Moermahadi Soerja Djanegara was present at the Kalibata PKN Badiklat accompanied by the Secretary General, Principal Inspector, Expert Staff for Regional Government Finance and structural officials within the Head Office. The A Day with The Board activity began with a briefing to all management and employees of Badiklat PKN. The chairman of the BPK RI asked the employees to convey the problems faced in the management of education and training. The Chairperson of BPK RI urges employees to always provide the best service in facilitating training activities both in terms of infrastructure, training materials and facilitators.

 

On this occasion, the Chairman of the BPK RI witnessed the signing of the Handover Report (BAST) of the Pering Training Center, Gianyar, Bali. The signing of the BAST was carried out by the Head of the BPK Representative for the Province of Bali, Sri Haryoso Suliyanto as the proxy for goods users, the Head of the PKN Badiklat, Hery Subowo as the proxy for goods users and the Secretary General of the BPK RI, Bahtiar Arif as the users of State Property (BMN). The main function of the PKN Badiklat is to provide training services for both internal and external. With the development of the Pering Training Center which is located in the province of Bali, the PKN Badiklat will improve its education and training services to the international arena.

 

After giving directions to employees within the BPK RI Badiklat PKN environment, the Chairperson of BPK RI opened a Professional Certification Workshop with the theme “Between Regulation, Competence, and Prestige” at the PKN Badiklat Learning Studio. In his remarks, the Chairman of BPK RI revealed that BPK RI was appointed as the supervisory agency for the Functional Examiner’s Position. BPK RI is tasked with conducting certification and professional training for state financial examiners. The purpose of administering the certification is to maintain and improve the competence of the examiners. This professional certification is a form of acknowledgment for an examiner for his competence in carrying out his examination duties.

 

To support its duties and functions as a coaching institution, BPK RI has designed a professional certification program for state financial auditors under the name Certified State Financial Auditor (CSFA). This professional certification program is intended for BPK RI examiners and examiners outside BPK RI. The Chairman of BPK RI revealed that the certification program is designed to ensure that people who have passed and received the CSFA are truly competent people. This professional certification is carried out based on BPK Regulation Number 1 of 2019 concerning Organizations and Implementing Work Procedures of the Supreme Audit Agency. In the BPK Regulation it is stated that the task of administering the certification of state financial examiners for both BPK Implementers and parties outside the BPK is carried out by the PKN Training and Education Agency.

 

The Professional Certification Workshop presented keynote speakers for State Finance III/Plt. Head of the Main Directorate of State Finance Law Development and Development (Blucer Welington Rajagukguk), Member of the BNSP Coordinator Commissioner (Bonardo Aldo Tobing), Head of the Center for Standardization and Evaluation of PKN Education and Training (Gunarwanto) and Deputy Head of LSP PDN Ministry of Home Affairs (Togar Sibarani). Meanwhile, the Head of the Center for Planning and Implementation of PKN Education and Training, Rio Tirta acted as a moderator during the activity.

 

At the end of the visit, A Day with The Board, the Chairperson of the BPK RI at the PKN Badiklat conducted a Public Lecture at the First Expert Examiner Functional Position Training (JFPAP) for Non-Accounting and Accounting CPNS in the PKN Badiklat Hall. The chairman of the BPK RI emphasized that examiners should work professionally and always maintain the good name of the institution. In addition, the examiners must also uphold the basic values; integrity, independence and professionalism. “These values ​​must be studied, understood, and implemented,” said the Chairman of the BPK RI in front of 112 training participants.
