THE INAUGURATION OF THE EAST REGION IPKN MANAGEMENT FOR THE PERIOD 2020-2023 IMPROVING THE COMPETENCE OF AUDITORS

Board Member V of the State Audit Board (BPK) as General Chairman of the National Executive Board (DPN) of the State Financial Audit Institute (IPKN) Prof. Bahrullah Akbar, CSFA said that the regional IPKN management is a complement to IPKN in carrying out activities in the regions. For this reason, he hopes the regional IPKN administrators are able to carry out the vision and mission of establishing the IPKN, said the Chairman of DPN IPKN in his briefing to regional IPKN administrators, after inaugurating the Eastern Region IPKN Management, Thursday (10/15/20).

The inauguration of the IPKN management for the 2020-2023 period for the Eastern Region consists of IPKN for the South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Central Sulawesi, Southeast Sulawesi, North Sulawesi, Gorontalo, Maluku, North Maluku, Papua, and West Papua regions. IPKN has regional administrators in 34 provinces in Indonesia, so that a total of 24 Regional IPKN administrators in Indonesia have been appointed.

The inauguration procession of IPKN administrators was carried out offline and online at the South Sulawesi Representative Office. Other Regional IPKN administrators originating from internal BPK carried out offline inaugurations with a physical inauguration procession at their representative offices, while Regional IPKN administrators who come from external BPK carried out online inaugurations at their places.

The State Financial Audit Institute (IPKN) is a professional organization that aims to meet the competence of auditors and improve the quality of state financial audits in accordance with the State Financial Audit Standards (SPKN). For this reason, IPKN administrators who are in the regions are the main motivators of the IPKN organization in forming professional auditors in realizing good governance.

The activity broadcasted through the zoom meeting application and live streaming on the YouTube channel were attended by 700 participants. The Governors in the Sulawesi Region, Maluku and Papua, or their representatives, Mayors in the Province of Sulawesi, Maluku and Papua as well as invitees from the Government Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP), the Public Accountant Office (KAP), and the local government were attending virtually this activity.
