Badiklat PKN held an Auditor Competence Capacity Building Training (Distance Learning Method) which was attended by 124 participants, this training was held in an effort to increase the competence of auditors in the Main Auditorate of Investigation (AUI) environment. AUI is one of the work units at the BPK that is tasked with carrying out investigative audits of the management and accountability of state finances, calculating state/regional losses, and providing expert statements.
The training, which was held for 5 days on 13, 19, 26 November, and 3, 9 December 2020, began with a briefing by the BPK Vice Chairman, Dr. Agus Joko Pramono, CSFA. In his briefing, he delivered material on Asset Tracing in Investigative Audit. He said, BPK needs to make several efforts in order to trace these assets, namely preparing the competence of human resources for auditors at AUI, completing tools (hardware and software), coordinating with data owners, and also Law Enforcement Officials (APH).
Materials related to Asset Tracing were also delivered by the training facilitator on the first day, namely the Director of PWC’s Forensic Service and also the ACFE Indonesia Chapter Management, Budi Santoso, S.E., Ak., CA, MforAccy, PGCS, CFE., CPA (Aust.). With this training implementation, it is hoped that it can increase the competence of BPK auditors, especially in investigative audits, and the results can be used to assist law enforcement officials in the legal process for the parties involved and can assist in efforts to recover state losses.
