BPK CORPU KICK OFF INAUGURAL LEARNING MEETING

JAKARTA, Public Relations of PKN Badiklat – PKN Badiklat as manager of the Strategic Initiatives of BPK Corporate University (BPK CorpU) held a Kick off Meeting of the BPK CorpU Learning Committee on Tuesday (24/8). The BPK Chairman, Agung Firman Sampurna, who in his capacity as Chairman of the Steering Committee of BPK CorpU gave a speech and opened the virtual event.

This kick off meeting is the first activity to implement the organization and work procedures of BPK CorpU which was set on August 6, 2021. BPK CorpU has a vision to become a World Class Corporate University through education and development of competent and professional state financial auditors. Therefore, it continues to strive and innovate in supporting education and learning activities, one of which is through the establishment of the BPK CorpU Learning Committee. This is an initiative in the implementation of governance by involving all work units within BPK in accordance with the CorpU principles that the ownership and implementation of CorpU are the shared responsibility of all parts of the organization.

“Learning is so important for an organization, that initiatives, innovations, and various breakthroughs are needed to support these learning activities,” said the Head of BPK in his speech. Furthermore, the Head of BPK said that through the establishment of the BPK CorpU Learning Committee, it is hoped that learning and guidance can be realized in accordance with organizational goals. In addition, the development of human resources that are more applicable, relevant and easily accessible is expected to accelerate the creation of a learning organization or an organization that continues to learn within the BPK environment.

This kick off meeting was held with the presentation of the BPK CorpU development strategy and the 12 results of the FGD discussion themes Pre Kick Off Meeting on August 12, 2021 by the Deputy Chair of the Learning Committee in this case Interim The Head of the PKN Education and Training Center (Badiklat PKN), Ida Sundari, will then receive direction and input from the Head of the BPK. The discussion in the FGD involved all elements of the learning committee consisting of the Chair and Vice Chair of the Learning Committee, the Expert Committee, and the Knowledge Committee.

Some of the BPK Chair’s inputs in this Kick Off Meeting were the application of BPK CorpU principles, with learning designs that can be accessed anywhere and anytime, without being hindered by distance and time, learning materials designed as attractive and efficient as possible, as well as the development of learning evaluations. The results of this directive will later be used as material for formulating strategic policies for developing HR competencies at BPK and at the same time being able to build the commitment of the BPK CorpU learning committees to harmonize the implementation of tasks and functions in achieving BPK’s vision with integrated activities.
