IPKN NATIONAL COORDINATION MEETING (RAKORNAS IPKN): CONSOLIDATING ORGANIZATIONS, BUILDING ACHIEVEMENTS

Magelang, Thursday (14 October 2021) – The State Audit Institute (IPKN), which is a professional organization for state financial examiners, held a National Coordination Meeting with the theme “Organization Consolidation, Building Achievements” today (14/10) in Magelang, Central Java. The purpose of organizing this activity is in the context of coordination and consolidation between the National Management Board (DPN) and the Regional Management Board (DPW) to follow up on the results of the IPKN I Congress on June 22, 2021.

“I hope that the National Coordination Meeting will become a means of coordination and consolidation between the National Management Board (DPN) and the Regional Management to determine organizational decisions regarding the coordination of certain programs that have been formulated in the IPKN I Congress,” said the General Chairperson of the National Management Board of State Audit Institute (DPN IPKN), who is also Member V of BPK, Bahrullah Akbar.

The General Chairperson of the IPKN DPN really appreciates all the efforts that have been made by the IPKN National Management Board and the Regional IPKN Chairs and Administrators throughout Indonesia. IPKN continues to consolidate and prepare the necessary organizations and tools even in the midst of the crisis and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic with all the existing limitations.

IPKN membership is open to government internal inspectors, public accountants, and other parties. This is used as a forum to synergize and equalize perceptions in order to encourage transparency and accountability in the management of state finances in a better direction. Through the openness of membership, IPKN simultaneously applies a culture of accountability for all, accountability for all. This means that all must be accountable in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, and all must encourage accountability in their respective institutions according to their authority.

The IPKN National Coordination Meeting was attended by the IPKN DPN and Regional IPKN Management to determine organizational decisions on certain programs that had been formulated at the IPKN I Congress. The discussion agenda includes IPKN membership, membership fees, PPL implementation including calculation of SKP, Regional IPKN/IPKN DPN Work Programs, work mutations of IPKN Management which have an impact on changes in the composition of Management at the national/regional level.

IPKN was inaugurated on February 20, 2020 by the Chairman of the BPK, Agung Firman Sampurna. The purpose of establishing IPKN is to develop and utilize the potential of examiners for the benefit of the nation and state. Activities organized by IPKN include the development of inspection standards, methodologies, techniques, and good auditing approaches and practices. IPKN also organizes professional development activities for members, educational activities for the community, and collaborates with other professional organizations in national and international scope.
