One hundred (100) Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) for the Supreme Audit Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (BPK RI) Category II for STAN Three-year Diploma formation attended Lectures on HR Development Policy and Civil Servant (ASN) Values as well as Technical Content of Institutional Substances (MTSL) in the Badiklat PKN Theater Room, on Monday (24/7/23). This classical learning activity starts a series of basic training activities (latsar) for CPNS Category II STAN in 2023.
Director of Certification, Education and Training Development Centre of State Financial Audit, Satrio Hari Nugroho, delivered the Lecture on the Apparatus HR Development Policy for ASN Values. He said that as ASN, one must have and master three types of competence to drive the national development process: Technical, Managerial, and Social-Cultural Competence.
Technical competence is measured by educational level and specialization, functional technical training, and technical work experience. Managerial competence is measured by educational level, structural and management training, and leadership experience. Socio-cultural competency is measured by work experience related to a pluralistic society regarding religion, ethnicity, and culture so that the CPNS have national insights.
He also conveyed ASN Basic Values and ASN Career Development (Merit System), namely ASN policies and management based on qualifications, competence, and performance fairly and reasonably irrespective of political background, race, skin color, religion, origin, gender, marital status, age, or disability. Additionally, the CPNS also received an overview of the opportunities for developing the HR competence for apparatus at BPK through higher education (domestic and foreign scholarships), leadership training, professional certification, and short courses that can be attended at home and abroad.
Director of Planning, Education and Training Centre of State Financial Audit, Dali Mulkana, when delivering the MTSL, said that CPNS gain understanding to get to know BPK more closely, namely understanding materials related to BPK and BPK Representatives. It includes the legal basis, mandates, main duties, roles, and synergy with Stakeholders. He also described BPK’s roles and achievements in the international arena, such as cooperation within the INTOSAI, ASOSAI, and ASEANSAI organizations.
Through these lectures, it is hoped that prospective BPK employees can understand the role and duties of BPK, as well as internalize and implement ASN core values with AKHLAK, namely service-oriented, accountable, competent, harmonious, loyal, adaptive, collaborative, in supporting ASN’s employer branding of “Proud to Serve the Nation.”
