General Chairman of the National Governance Policy Committee (KNKG), Prof. Mardiasmo, delivered materials on Comprehensive Public Sector Reporting in a public lecture to participants of the 2023 Administrator Leadership Training (PKA), at the Training Institute of State Financial Audit, Jakarta (Monday 8/28).
KNKG is responsible for developing the implementation of governance in Indonesia through a series of efforts to realize good governance and corporate governance to encourage increased performance of the national economy.
On this occasion, he explained governance reporting, public financial management, green accounting, and the direction of development of reporting regarding environmental, social, and governance issues. This theme was adopted so that in the future, training participants will be able to represent the results of innovation in developing solutions that encourage development and prosperity for both institutions and society by combining innovation with the principles of sustainable governance.
Hopefully, through this public lecture, Administrative Officers within the BPK can carry out good governance practices applicable to developing ideas for change that will be implemented in organizational units as well as improving the quality of BPK audits, which are manifested in improving the quality of governance, increasing transparency, and accountability of state finances.
