Musi Banyuasin Regency Inspectorate Employees Participate in Risk Management Training

Badiklat PKN holds classical-style Risk Management Training, over 4 (four) working days from March 5-8, 2024, attended by 20 (twenty) Musi Banyuasin Regency Inspectorate employees. The Director of Planning, Education and Training Centre of State Financial Audit, Eko Purwanto, opened the training on Tuesday (3/5/2024).

Risk is an incident or event that can hinder an organization’s effort to achieve its goals or objectives. Organizations must create a controlled environment to identify and measure the risks that may occur and mitigation efforts that must be carried out.

One effort to create a controlled environment is to manage risk. Leaders of Government Agencies are required to create and maintain a controlled environment that creates positive behavior conducive to the implementation of an Internal Control System (SPI) in their work environment.

This can be realized through the effective role of the Government’s Internal Oversight Apparatus (APIP). At a minimum, it must provide early warning and increase the effectiveness of risk management in carrying out government duties and functions.

After attending this training, apart from being able to manage risks in the work environment, Participants should also be able to understand the essence and characteristics of ISO 31000-based Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) and be able to understand and apply risk management.
