Participate in Goods and Services Procurement Audit Training at Training Institute of State Financial Audit

Procurement of Goods and Services (PBJ) is a strategic instrument for the government to encourage job creation, development of domestic production, and empowerment of businesses, including small businesses. Government procurement of goods and services has an important role in supporting the realization of excellent public services and equitable development. However, the budget for the procurement of goods and services is often misused or subjected to acts of corruption.

For the goods and services procurement process to run efficiently, openly, competitively, affordably, and with quality, simple, clear, and comprehensive procedures for procuring goods and services are required under Presidential Regulation Number 12 of 2021 concerning Government Procurement of Goods/Services.

To ensure that the PBJ process follows applicable laws and regulations, the Government’s Internal Supervisory Apparatus (APIP) must be able to carry out audits of the procurement of goods and services to encourage good and clean state administration.

To help fulfil APIPs competency in carrying out PBJ audits, Badiklat PKN in collaboration with the Tangerang City Government held Goods and Services Procurement Audit Training for Tangerang City Inspectorate APIPs. The training activities which were held classically at the Training Institute of State Financial Audit were opened by the Director of the Academic and Learning Technology Centre, Dwi Setiawan Susanto, on Monday (3/4).

The materials presented in this training include government PBJ audit techniques starting from the planning, preparation, selection, and procurement implementation stages. The approach used to determine the object of PBJ audits and indications of PBJ fraud.

The training activities last 5 days, from March 4-8, 2024, and are attended by 20 participants including Tangerang City Inspector, Dadi Budaeri. It is hoped that this training can provide provisions and improve the knowledge, skills, quality, and competence of auditors in carrying out Government PBJ audits.
