To support fulfilling HR competency, Badiklat PKN in partnership with the Garut Regency Government held a Special Class External Training for the Garut Regency Regional Inspectorate, divided into 2 (two) different trainings, namely Road and Bridge Infrastructure Inspection Training and Performance Audit Training.
60 (sixty) APIPs from the Garut Regency Inspectorate, divided into two classes, participated in the training, which lasted 5 (five) working days from April 22-26 2024. Director of Certification, Education and Training Development Centre of State Financial Audit, Satrio Hari Nugroho, opened the training on Monday (04/22/2024).
Increasing the quantity and quality of infrastructure development activities is directly proportional to the increase in the APBN and APBD financing burden. This causes an increased risk of misuse of the budget and responsibility for implementing activities.
For audits to analyze and assess the results of construction work accurately and provide appropriate recommendations, it is necessary to increase the knowledge, understanding, and skills of auditors to carry out infrastructure audits, especially in the field of roads and bridges.
Therefore, Performance Audits are the key to fulfilling the government’s obligations in being accountable to the people. This audit will provide confidence in the information reported regarding the results of programs or activities, as well as about the internal control system within the organization/institution. Auditor activities will also provide direction for improving government management, decision-making, and accountability to the public.
This classically held training aims to enable participants to analyze and audit Road and Bridge Infrastructure Work. Through performance audits, apart from providing direction for improving government management, it is also able to produce performance improvements so that they can work effectively, efficiently, and economically.
